Peel Protocols
Self Neutralizing Peels
Self-neutralizing peels do not need a neutralizer and should never be rinsed and should never have any moisture or product added for 12 hours after the peel.

1. Select a proper peel for your client. Then thoroughly cleanse the skin with Adore Pro’s Restoring Cleanser. Rinse with damp esthetic wipes or wet towel.
2. Degrease (prep) the skin using Adore Pro’s Chemical Peel Prep. Apply with a 2x2 esthetic wipe (unwoven or woven). Using firm pressure, apply in upward strokes starting at the forehead and ending with the neck area. For resilient skin, prep with 2 passes. Allow to dry.
3. With neutralizing gel or petroleum jelly, apply a barrier around the eye area, lips, or any sensitive areas.
4. Put on disposable gloves. Apply peel solution to a 2x2 esthetic wipe (woven) until damp. Assure no dripping occurs. Using little pressure, wipe the peel in upward strokes, starting with the forehead and ending with the neck. Tingling may occur. Allow to dry and settle. If the client is not experiencing an end point, apply another layer after 5-7 minutes. Continue adding layers every 5-7 minutes until an end point is reached.
5. Once end-point occurs (frosting usually), you are done with the treatment. Do not neutralize. Spend time cooling until the spicy sensation has calmed. DO NOT RINSE.
